Way down deep in the fall of 1975 Bob and Jeni Pennington moved three young children, four cats and two dogs across the country; sat with Bob’s parents , Phil and Harriet , to sign paperwork on the property that would become Agua Fria Nursery.
As we began to sow the seeds of a homegrown revolution , we noticed that our “industry “ was steeped in toxic chemicals; the pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers so common in other garden centers. Our mission became clear; to save Planet Earth, one organic garden at a time. We set out to find a new way, a more natural, organic way to grow plants, and handle the problems that arise.
Now , with our fourth generation bouncing around, we offer an incredible selection of plants and garden products, and we promise you that we do not grow or sell GMO’s, and every plant in our care is treated to an all natural growing experience. Come In today, breathe deep, and smell the difference.
